Warranty & Shelf Life

The “shelf life” of Terra-Tech products refers to how long the material can sit on a shelf (either unopened or after opening) before it begins to lose it's effectiveness or not be usable. The shelf life of a product will vary depending on chemical composition and variables like exposure to heat or air after opening.

We recommend that you only purchase what you need for projects in the near future. A common mistake is buying more than is needed and having material left over that goes to waste. Determine how much material you need for your current or upcoming projects and purchase the corresponding amount. 

We also recommend trying to use the products within a few weeks after purchasing. Don’t leave the products unused for long periods of time.

Terra-Tech uses a standard date system to identify when a material was made. Day, month and year can be found on a label on the bottom of each individual package. Please note, this only applies to materials such as paints, epoxies, & concrete.

Use the guide below to determine the shelf life of a specific product

1. TERRAPOXY™ Epoxy Clay
   Properly stored at room temperature (73°F/ 23°C), Terra-Tech epoxy products have a shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacture in unopened containers, stored in a dry location.
   Important: Keep TERRAPOXY™ away from areas with high humidity.
2. TERRACRETE™ Modeling & Sculpting Concrete
   Properly stored at room temperature (73°F / 23°C) TERRACRETE™ will have a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture in unopened containers, stored in a dry location.
   Important: Concrete mixes must be kept dry. Moisture will allow these products to solidify and become unusable. 
3. TERRACRYLIC™ Acrylic Urethane Paints
   Properly stored at room temperature (73°F / 23°C) TERRACRYLIC™ paints will have a shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacture in unopened containers, stored in a dry location.
   Important: Do not allow TERRACRYLIC™ Paints to freeze.

Terra-Tech warrants to You, provided you have used and stored the products in accordance with their written instructions, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, that any products delivered pursuant to these Terms shall conform in all material respects to their written specifications. If you do not notify Terra-Tech of any non-conformance within (30) calendar days of your order, you shall be deemed to have accepted all such products subject to this warranty obligation.
